What's happening at your bar in November?
Halloween is on Tuesday, but don’t pack up your pumpkins just yet. Take a look at our list of bar events for November, and be sure to add them to your promotion calendar.
Tuesday & Wednesday, 10/31-11/1: World Series Games (if necessary)
If the best-of-seven playoff between the Astros and the Dodgers continues on, get out ahead of other bars and keep your customers informed. Tie in food & drink specials, and perhaps even create a simple 'winner pool' so people can guess the winner. Draw a name and give out a gift certificate!
Friday 11/10: NCAA Basketball Early Season Begins
NCAA basketball starts off the season with the 2K Classic. Providence, Virginia Tech, Washington, and Saint Louis will be playing in the Championship Rounds from 11/16 through 11/17.
Saturday, 11/11: Veterans Day
Show off your red, white and blue as we salute all who have served to protect our freedom. Host a Veterans Day celebration with special discounts for all veterans and active military.
Sunday, 11/12: National Happy Hour Day
Promote your happy hour specials all day long or create a unique happy hour menu.
Thursday, 11/23: Thanksgiving Day
The eve of Thanksgiving is well known to be one of the busiest nights in the bar industry. Keep the momentum going by offering shared appetizer specials and buckets or pitcher specials.
Friday, 11/24: Black Friday
Will you be open for one of the biggest shopping holidays of the year? Encourage customers to take a break from all the crazy for a bite to eat and a beer.
Adding these events to your bar calendar can keep your customers engaged in your venue. Remember, the busiest bars have something going on every night of the week!
